MyGovEA is a structured approach to define an organization covering the aspect of business and technical. MyGovEA Blueprint provides a framework, methodology and implementation plan to help public sector agencies to develop Enterprise Architecture (EA) for their respective agencies. MyGovEA is also a practice in transforming the agency through planning across four (4) primary domains which are Business, Data, Application and Technology.
The importance of MyGovEA implementation is to improve consistent and comprehensive Digital Government service delivery through alignment of business strategy and ICT, supporting the needs of the analysis and reporting of organizational strategic planning through the use of a centralized repository of EA as a reference to public sector agencies, to prevent duplication of application in government agencies, enhancing ICT governance for monitoring and project implementation and to support initiatives of Big Data, Open Data and Green Technology.
