MyGov*Net is the Malaysia Government Integrated Telecommunications Network, managed centrally to support the delivery of public services. MyGov*Net provides a platform to access government electronic applications, agencies’ internal applications (intranet) and internet access. MyGov*Net services are provided to Ministries, Federal Government Departments or Agencies and Federal Statutory Body under the remuneration of Ministries.
MyGov*Net scope consists of two services – Wide Area Network (WAN) and Putrajaya Campus Network (PCN).
1) Wide Area Network Services
The Wide Area Network service includes Main Services and Optional Services.
i. Main Services consist of Secured Wide Area Network Services in which using the following technologies:
a. Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IPVPN);
b. Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT);
c. Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL); and
d. Mobile.
ii. Optional services consist of Integration, Consolidation, Bandwidth Optimization, Relocation, Firewall, Local Area Network Services, Content Filtering, Remote Access, Intrusion Prevention System, High Service Level Guarantee, Technical and Consultancy, Dedicated Internet Access, International Connectivity, Class of Services, Bandwidth on Demand and Point to Point.
2) Putrajaya Campus Network (PCN) Services
Prepare, operate, manage, implement and monitor 24×7 network daily operations of Government agencies in Putrajaya and Cyberjaya as follows:
i. PCN Internet Access Services;
ii. Campus Network Maintenance Services including floor switches, data center switches, building switches, parcel switch to gateway switches EXCLUDED vertical and horizontal cable in buildings and cabling between buildings; and
iii. PCN Wireless Network Services.
