MyGovCloud@PDSA is a government private cloud computing service offered by the Public Sector Data Center (PDSA), MAMPU to Public Sector Agencies covering two (2) main services namely data center (DC) services and disaster recovery center (DRC)
In general, MyGovCloud@PDSA offers the following services:
1.Cloud Hosting
Provide and manage hosting services by provisioning of virtual servers through MyGovCloud@PDSA Portal. There are (3) catalog under the IaaS service model, namely:
a) Standard – Virtual servers for development and testing environments
b)Enterprise – Virtual server for production environment including backup/restore services; and
c)Premium – Virtual servers for production environments including backup/restore as well as disaster recovery facilities.
2. Physical Hosting
Provide space and manage hosting services for physical servers, security equipment and networks.
3. Disaster Recovery Center (DRC)
Provide, manage and operate Disaster Recovery Center services for public sector critical applications as well as offer advisory services in preparingdisaster recovery plan (DRP) and simulation testing.
4. Backup & Restore
Provide backup and restore service for application in cloud environment.
5. Operational and technical Support
i. Manage and monitor the availability and security of infrastructure and support equipment of Data Center.
ii. Monitoring and trigger alert on usage, operational and security issues to the user.
The Government has also appointed four (4) Panel Cloud Service Providers (CSP) under the Cloud Framework Agreement (CFA) namely Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, TM One Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This collaboration aim to provide opportunities for Public Sector agencies to utilize emerging technologies such as data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, internet of things (IoT), virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR) and others to improve the quality of government delivery systems. Public Cloud services covering Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). Professional services also provided by Panel Cloud Service Providers (CSP) and Managed Service Providers (MSP) respectively.
